Find out what's needed to make a better pots that pour. I’ll do demos of lots of techniques to make your throwing easier, faster, better. Struggling with the clay as it fights back? Learn how to better use your body to win! After a lifetime of working in clay I have a lot I can share with you.
Day One: Throwing demos and hands-on practice and coaching on all the things above
Day Two: In the morning we’ll start by trading some leather-hard parts that everyone made on day one. And then we’ll quickly build pouring pots - it’s fun and challenging at the same time. In the afternoon we’ll focus on refining day one skills with more surface texture ideas: thick slip, sprigs, extruded bits, more.
