This two day hands-on workshop involves making drape molds using plaster from found objects that participants scavenge to replicate with clay. They can be vintage pottery forms, once used plastic or Styrofoam cups, trays and take-out containers. Making plaster drape molds by repurposing these objects is the idea!
In this workshop, we will also learn how to mix and pour plaster. Once drape molds are made, you can use them singularly or combine in unusual ways to create your own unique pieces!
